Personality & Traits

General Overview		A former Sector Ranger, Arrin has since become a "mover of goods", though this is often said with a wink and a grin. She knows the law enough to know how to skirt it, charismatic enough to talk her way out of trouble (or try to and just end up in it worse, usually), and when that all fails, there's always her blaster pistols, a scatter gun, and a crafty kick to the reproductive bits.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Arrin is a complicated person. On the one hand, she's crafty, loyal to her friends, and somewhere in there, still a believer in the good in the galaxy. But on the other, she's arrogant at times, vain at others, seems to have issues with authority that hasn't earned her respect, and more than a little reckless at times. In a way, for better or worse, she's the best and worst of many smugglers in the same trade.

Personal History		Arrin Savae was once a rising star in the Sector Rangers. She had participated in numerous busts on criminals that made HoloNet news, had several commendations in her file, and there was talk of her moving into any division she had her eye on. But this all came to a rather screeching halt after she had to arrest a criminal who turned out to be the wayward son of a Sith Empire official. Not long after the Treaty of Coruscant too... To cut a long story short, out of nowhere, she was suddenly targeted for a corruption investigation, taking kickbacks from the Hutt Cartels, tipping off suspects, compromising cases and so on. When her section chief died under mysterious circumstances, that was really the end of it and Arrin was let go. Yet her section chief had a parting gift for her - the means to go underground. He'd been working to protect her after the arrest and while he had put things together for her to run and hide, the ship and network of contacts ended up putting her on course to becoming a smuggler. Later on, Arrin was contacted by Republic SIS to take jobs that would benefit the Republic, damage the Empire, and pay well. Except what they forgot to mention was it was going to be on a frozen rock on the Outer Rim and it was "Paid Upon Completion". Also the SIS may have left out several details. And so, Arrin is now here at Frostpoint, trying to make the best of a bad situation.
Known Rumours		+Arrin used to be a Sector Ranger until she started taking kickbacks from the Hutts, which is why she's a smuggler now. +Arrin used to be a Sector Ranger until she shot a Sith and now they've put a death mark on her, that's why she's at Frostpoint. +Arrin stole her ship from one of the Voidhound's people and he's paying well to have her brought back alive. ((These rumors are false and many others tend to be of this vein - grandiose and either completely wrong or lacking details. Some of the true ones are rather crazy stories but are more due to luck, misunderstanding, and vastly overselling things. Like the time she took out a bounty hunter with a taxi on Coruscant, the guy was obviously jaywalking...))
